Lab for Computational Genomics

School of Computer Science, Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Hi, welcome! Our lab focuses on developing algorithmic methods for managing, storing and analyzing large genomic data, and gaining biological insight from these data. In particular, we are interested in algorithmic problems occurring in the following areas.

  • Reconstruction of focal amplifications and complex structural variations in cancer, including extrachromosomal DNA (ecDNA);
  • Genomic data compression/indexing;
  • Metagenomics, pangenomics and cancer microbiome;
  • 3D genomics/chromatin structure analysis;
  • Secure and privacy-preserving genomic data analysis.
